TERRESTRIAL (TEMPERATE, URBAN)

Ferrith is a Terra Nova colony on the northernmost edge of the empire. It is situated between Graedian and Nebulan space, and thus has strategic and economic advantages over most other colonies in the northern Fringe. Unfortunately, its growth has outpaced Terra Nova’s capacity to directly supply or defend it, making it a sumptuously under-defended target for pirates and other criminal elements. It sustained itself fairly well in spite of this weakness, and not until a Metron guerilla force attacked it just weeks prior to the Battle of Aquias did it see any true threat. Though scarred by the raid, Ferrith is not yet among the worlds attacked by the main Metron invasion.
